Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)

The Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act regulates the environmentally friendly disposal and recycling
of electrical and electronic equipment. It was introduced to reduce the amount of electrical and
electronic waste and to ensure that it is treated in an environmentally friendly manner. The main points
of the ElektroG are:

  1. Registration requirement: Manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment must register
with the Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register (EAR).
  2. Take-back obligation: Manufacturers are obliged to take back old appliances free of charge.
  3. Labeling: Appliances must be marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin to indicate that
they must not be disposed of with household waste.

We at Stadtfeld Elektrotechnische Fabrik GmbH & Co. KG offer professional take-back and disposal of
professional electrical appliances:

  • Pole-mounted socket outlets series 4010 to 4040
  • Solar lights
  • LED light strips for professional use from the 1020, 1030 and 5010 series

Old electrical appliances must be disposed of separately. Contact Lightcycle and coordinate the return
with Lightcycle. You can find more information on take-back here.
Thanks to disposal in accordance with the ElektroG resources are conserved and the environment is
protected from pollutants. Stadtfeld Elektrotechnische Fabrik thus fulfills its legal obligations under the
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act.

As a manufacturer within the meaning of the ElektroG, we are registered with the Stiftung Elektro-
Altgeräte Register (EAR) under the following registration number:

WEEE-Reg. No. DE 99429735
